BRYAN BRICCO

BRYAN BRICCO (SAX)

Bryan is a native of Canandaigua, NY. He attended The Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam and Nazareth College of Rochester. He holds Bachelor degrees in Music Ed./Music Performance and a Masters in Music Education. Bryan teaches instrumental and classroom music in the Penfield Central School District. Bryan lives in East Bloomfield with his wife, Carrie.
   


JIMMY GRILLO

JIMMY GRILLO (DRUMS)

Jimmy began playing at the age of 2 by listening to the Beatles with his father, who is also a drummer. Through adolescence and young adult hood, Jimmy was involved with all music programs available in the East Irondequoit school district. This included Concert, Jazz and Marching Band. He expanded his Marching Band experience with drum corps during his teens while marching with the Rochester Patriots, Empire Statesmen and Rhythm X Percussion performance ensemble. Through Rhythm X, Jimmy was able to travel throughout Europe to teach clinics focused on the American approach to indoor percussion, which was sponsored by Dynasty Drum Company. For the past 4 years, he has worked with marching bands from Ohio and New York, teaching the Marching percussion activity. Jimmy is currently working with the East Irondequoit Marching Band and the Batavia Winter Indoor Drumline. In 2007, Jimmy and Will McKenna started the live electronica group named RootsCollider, which has shared the stage with nationally respected bands such as Giant Panda Guerrilla Dub Squad, John Browns Body, Mishka and Rubblebucket. Additionally, Jimmy teaches private percussions lessons and gigs with local jazz combos.
   


DAVE KLUGE

DAVE KLUGE (BASS)

Dave is currently an instrumental music teacher in the West Irondequoit School District. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Music Education and minor in Jazz Studies from Fredonia State University. Dave is an active performer and composer. His compositions include those commissioned by The Penfield Commission Project. He has performed with a number of small jazz combos over the last several years and is excited to be making music with this quartet.
   


SETH SEALFON

SETH SEALFON (GUITAR)

Seth has been playing guitar for over 20 years. He has been a member of various Rock, Jazz and Groove Rock Bands in Rochester over the past 15 years. Although "brought up" on Rock and Roll, Seth is a devoted Jazz Guitar student. Influences include Jim Hall, Joe Pass, Ed Bickert, Sonny Rollins, Paul Desmond, Bill Evans, Chet Baker, etc. Seth has played with local acts such as The Brad Batz Group, The Half Ton Horns, M.Six and the Al Chez Brothers of Funk Big Band.
