ABOUT THE BAND
“Jazz Contingent Quartet” was formed in the summer of 2009 in Rochester, NY. The quartet performs at venues ranging from restaurants to festivals and from weddings to corporate functions.
Jazz Contingent Quartet is comprised of Bryan Bricco (sax), Seth Sealfon (guitar), Dave Kluge (bass) and Jim Grillo (drums).
The quartet is performing live on-air for a WGMC Jazz 90.1 artist show case on May 5, 2010.
Jazz Contingent Quartet performs a wide variety of jazz standards from the 50-70’s by artists such as: Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter, John Coltrane, Miles Davis, Charlie Mingus, Freddie Hubbard, Grover Washington, Joe Henderson, Lee Morgan, Horace Silver, Sonny Rollins, Thelonious Monk, etc.
